不具合修正
キャブレター直ぐ下のセルモーターがガソリンで黄変している。そして燃料コック根元にアルミテープが....ガソリン漏れた所為？という訳で純正O'ringを取り寄せて交換、コックの清掃。ハンドルバーに曲がり・・・鉄パイプを使い、力技で曲がり修正。不具合箇所を見つけ、何が起きたのか推測するのも楽しい。

CBX125F 現状チェック-2
フロントサス下部のアルミ錆が酷い！まずは錆を落としアルミ地むき出しにする予定。この錆具合だと他部品にもアルミ錆の発生が怪しまれる。アルミ錆の出ている部分は容易に塗膜が剥がれるだろう。サイレンサーに穴。エンジンをしっかり回さず、オイルがサイレンサーまで届かなかったと思われる。どうするか思案中。チェーンの汚れを除去。張りを調整したら許容値を超えている事判明、チェーンの交換が必要！

CBX125FとCBX250Sは不人気車でしたが、理由の一つはフロントカウルでしょう。カウルを外しネイキッド仕様にした車両も多く見られます。 CBX125Fのカウルはヘッドライト幅とほぼ同じでとてもスリム。ホンダさん、もう少しボリュームあるカウルにした方が良かったかも。他車のカウルに付け替え、ピッタリくるカスタムを見た事ありませんネ。

CBX125F 部品取り車をゲット
部品取り車をゲット。復活させれたらとの淡い期待は見事打ち砕かれました。キャブのマニホールドのゴムが剥離し使用できない。部品交換するにもホンダでは廃番です。復活は諦め、部品取りとしてマフラーを移植予定です。
